Mark & Candy Champion's Timber Frame, Congratulations to the Champions they moved into there new Honest Abe Timber Frame home!! : The Champions Timber Frame home is a custom design that has 6x6 post and beams made from Douglas Fir as the frame. The walls are structural insulated panels (SIP’S) attached to the frame of the home. It was built in the summer of 2009 The home is 2016sf under roof. 1728sf is the main floor and 288sf is the bonus room upstairs. The exterior beams, porches, and steps along with the interior beams, exposed rafters and steps are brown tone dark, Transformation stain,from Sascho. The exterior siding is cedar discovery hand spit shake shingle from Mastic. It has custom stone work on the exterior foundation, porch post, and steps. Interior on the fireplace and bar. There is a completely screened in porch that runs along one side of the home that you can access from the master bedroom or the living room. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The ceilings in the living room and kitchen are covered with 1x6 pine tongue and groove that is white washed. The interior doors are 6 panel pine that has been white washed also along with the pine trim that runs through out the home. The fireplace has gas logs. The custom windows are vinyl and the exterior doors are steel.
